Vivace RF Microneedling in Knoxville

Total Hair & Body Medical Introduces Vivace™ RF Microneedling to Knoxville

Have you heard? We have the award-winning Vivace™ Fractional Microneedle RF. Vivace is an FDA-cleared treatment that combines the latest generation of microneedling technology with radiofrequency (RF), a proven non-invasive skin tightening method, and LED light therapy.

How Does RF Microneedling Work?

As we age, our bodies produce less elastin and collagen. This causes our skin to have less structure and elasticity, which ultimately causes our skin to sag and form wrinkles. Vivace’s unique hand-held device applies sterile guarded microneedles to create micro-channel deep into the dermis of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. As a result, your skin repairs itself by dissolving and replacing damaged tissue. This naturally tightens your skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and scars- leaving you with smoother, younger-looking skin.

Our system creates micro-channels in your skin that remain open for up to six hours following a treatment. This allows us to introduce customized treatment serums to improve your results.

In addition to microneedles, the handpiece also delivers adjustable Radio Frequency (RF) energy. The red RF energy activates cellular activity and stimulates collagen and the blue energy kills acne-causing bacteria and helps reduce oil production in your skin. Unlike lasers, RF-based treatments deliver energy below your pigment-producing cells and do not increase the pigment in your skin. It is safe for all skin types and ethnicities.

What Does it Feel Like?

Once the skin is numb, you may feel a light pressure that tells you the device is doing its work. Most people find the treatment to be comfortable.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

For most, three to four treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, provide the optimal experience for patients. While the results are often immediate for skin tone and texture, there is also improvement over a three-month period as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time.

How Long Does A Treatment Take?

The actual treatment takes around 1-2 hours, depending on what areas are to be treated, with an additional 45 minutes needed for numbing.

What Is My Recovery?

The microchannels created by the microneedling remain open for a limited time providing an opportunity to supplement the treatment with recommended serums and recovery protocols that create optimal results and faster recovery. Using the right products, our clients are ready for a night out, with very little to no indication of any treatment that day.

How Long Do The Results Last?

Everyone is different, but the collagen you make is your own and continues to accelerate over three months. You may notice healthier looking skin right away. However, keep in mind that collagen production occurs over time and it would not be realistic to expect damage that has happened to the skin over years will disappear right away.
